We are studying a spiking neural network model of the reinforcement learning inspired by the basal ganglia.

We have constructed a neural network model inspired by the cortex and the striatum. in addition, it has a memory structure like the hippocampus. This model can learn optimal actions under some partially observable situations (Nakano et al., PLoS One, 2015).
